Sheikha is a manager at HSBC Saudi Arabia's Islamic finance department. She part of the team of professionals that built HSBC's investment banking franchise in Saudi Arabia, where the focus is on high-profile, high-value clients in both the public and private sectors. Since joining HSBC in 2004, Sheikha has worked on a number of landmark transactions in the area of Islamic finance, such as the first wholly Islamic project finance, the first sukuk approved by a Saudi Shariah Committee and the first Islamic tranche in a project financing in Saudi Arabia.
Currently, Sheikha is responsible for distributing and selling local and international specialized financing instruments to Saudi investors. She has also co-wrote a number of articles on Islamic finance.
Sheikha has a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Politics from the University of Bristol, UK.
